The new ‘Mwendokasi’ buses of the MOFAT Company, October 02, 2025 have begun carrying passengers from Mbezi to Kimara to eliminate the major nuisance that existed on the road of the shortage of vehicles and the poor condition of the ‘Mwendokasi’ buses.
The buses began operating this morning, a few hours after the Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Mr. Albert Chalamila announced yesterday that by order of the Prime Minister, Mr. Kassim Majaliwa, some of the MOFAT buses that are specifically for the Mbagala route will be transferred to the Kimara road to eliminate the current shortage of buses.
These new buses have begun carrying passengers on the ‘Mwendokasi’ road from Kimara to Gerezani, Kivukoni and Morocco.
