The Ministry of Energy has invited citizens to continue visiting the Ministry of Energy Pavilion at the International Farmers’ Fair – NANENANE, in Dodoma to learn about various issues including the National Energy Plan for the year 2025-2030.
The plan, signed at the African Heads of State Meeting of Mission 300, January 2025, aims to connect 8.3 million citizens to electricity by 2030 and provide clean cooking energy to 75 percent of Tanzanians by 2030.
The plan also aims to increase access to electricity and increase the participation of renewable energy in electricity production.
