The Ministry of Energy and its institutions are participating in the International Agricultural Exhibition which started on August 01, 2025 at the Nzuguni Stadium in Dodoma.
The exhibition is under the theme of “Choose the Best Leaders for Sustainable Development of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries 2025”,
In the exhibition which was opened by the Vice President, Dr. Philip Isdor Mpango.
Ministry experts, in addition to explaining the achievements achieved in the Energy Sector including the completion of the Julius Nyerere Power Project and Rural Electrification, are providing education on Clean Cooking Energy.
Citizens are being informed about various plans that the Ministry has planned to implement in the 2025/2026 financial year including continuing to distribute electricity to the suburbs and implementing the National Clean Cooking Energy Strategy.
The institutions of the Ministry of Energy participating in the exhibition are the Tanzania Electricity Corporation (TANESCO), the Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority (PURA), the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA), the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC), the Rural Energy Agency (REA), the Joint Petroleum Import Agency (PBPA) and the Tanzania Geothermal Development Company (TGDC).
