Korogwe District Commissioner, Mr. William Mwakilema has been criticized by the Bobezi free medical care provided by the National Muhimbili Sword and Mloganzila Hospital in collaboration with the Vodacom Tanzania Foundation at a camp at Korogwe Teachers’ College in Tanga.
Speaking at the camp, Mr. Mwakilema said the government continues to invest in the health sector by recognizing the importance of the sector to the people and how it can stimulate the country’s economy as a healthy community will be strong in various investment activities.
“I congratulate Muhimbili and the Vodacom Foundation in Tanzania for continuing to support the Government’s efforts to improve health care, they strongly believe in the Bobezi Championships provided by you due to your long history and abilities in the country which is why you see they have come out in large numbers,” he noted Mr. Makilema.
Pediatrician, MNH. Dr. Aika Shoo said the team is committed to ensuring that all citizens arriving at the camp have access to quality services on time at no cost and has asked them to continue to come out in large numbers.
Location Manager-Vodacom Korogwe Mr. Kaanankira Nanyaro Amesma Vodacom Tanzania Foundation will continue to cooperate with Muhimbili in ensuring that citizens are provided with health care as much as possible.
MNH and Vodacom Tanzania have begun providing free medical care and medical care from July 21 to 23, for Tanga residents where the services will later move to the Kiliamjaro region from July 25 to 27, 2025
