Everyone should be responsible properly so that the 2050 vision will work – President Mwinyi

The President of Zanzibar and the Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi congratulated the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan for the great achievements achieved in the implementation of the National Development Vision 2050.

President Mwinyi has also called on Tanzanians to sincerely welcome the new 2050 vision as a tool for national development.

President Dr. Mwinyi said in July 17 2025, when he made a greeting at the inauguration of the National Development Vision 2050 held at the Jakaya Kikwete Convention Center, Dodoma.

President Dr. Mwinyi said the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar and the general public, are proud of the major steps that have been taken through the implementation of the National Development Vision 2025, measures that have contributed significantly to the development of various social and economic services.

President Dr. Mwinyi said the launch of the National Development Vision 2050 is a new beginning for the nation’s development for the next 25 years and that its preparation process was open, participatory and professional, which gave Tanzanians the opportunity from different groups to participate and express their views.

President Dr. Mwinyi has concluded his greetings by calling on all Tanzanians, to read the National Development Vision 2050 in order to better understand the nation’s direction and everyone can fully recognize and fulfill his or her responsibilities.

In his inauguration speech the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, who was the official guest, has called on all government ministries and institutions to review their policies in line with the National Development Vision 2050, focusing on the National Development.

He has instructed the private sector to actively participate in the implementation of the goals of the vision, emphasizing that success cannot be achieved without the solidarity of all sectors.
