You need to have a VISA and other document to travel to other countries but am not sure if your need ones with Virtual reality.
With virtual reality you can go almost anywhere Have your ever ask your self question, how significantly does virtual reality differ from the real environment and by how much percent?. How does this affect physical tourism ?.
Virtual reality despite of it advantages has it disadvantages, Virtual reality reduce number of physical tourist and hence revenue, revenue that were suppose to be collected through physical tourism.
With the help of Ambisonic Microphone which record sound 3d sound from 360 degrees and 360 degree photography and other technologies that facilitate it functioning.
With these features Virtual reality can simulate similar environment to the real environment, virtual reality can create wind, lighting, and temperature creating such immersive experience to user.
And this enable visiting culture heritage, climb and descent mountains and visit other variety of place virtually, Countries like Tanzania, Egypt, Morocco, France, Maldives and Seychelles part of the revenue of these countries is contributed by physical tourism.
But Question is.
When tourist use virtual reality what country they visit most?, How does this affect their tourism economy? Am not sure exactly to what percent do virtual reality look similar to the real environment but if virtual is reality is 60%, 70%, 80% similar to the real environment it will reach time with advance of technology virtual reality will look 100% similar to the real environment
Not only that we can achieve with technology but also with virtual reality visitors can also experience live reality, this means visitor will be able to experience real time experience as it occur in actual environment.
For example tourist will be able experience how does sun shine now in Mountain Kilimanjaro how does wind blow now, Sound of the birds both of these in real time as actual happen now in real environment.
So with this current technology and with advance of virtual reality technology over time people some people might find it unnecessary to travel physically to different country for tourism.
Therefore these changes affect physical tourism revenue collection and it also affect job employment as people who were suppose to serve certain number of tourists a year are not coming to their desired destiny due to virtual reality.
Therefore countries a should create regulation that will guide these virtual reality companies and this involve the filming of those location and this will defines what rules they should comply with.
