The Regional Commissioner of Dar es Salaam, Mr. Albert Chalamila, on June 26, 2025, visited and inspected the preparations for the 2025 SABASABA exhibition in Temeke, Dar es Salaam.
While at the SABASABA grounds, Mr. Chalamila had the opportunity to hear a brief report on the preparations for the exhibition from the Executive Director of the Authority, Ms. Latifa Khamis and then visited the various pavilions located within the SABASABA premises.
Mr. Chalamila commended the preparations for the exhibition, saying that so far more than 3000 local and foreign participants have confirmed their participation.
“This is an important and proud opportunity for our nation for the exhibition, despite having economic benefits, to also help promote Tanzania diplomatically as well as to advertise our country”, said Mr. Chalamila.
Mr.Chalamila has urged Tanzanians, especially residents of Dar es Salaam, to make good use of the economic opportunities arising from the SABASABA exhibition to recover economically.
TanTrade CEO, Ms. Latifa Khamis, said this year’s exhibition is different from other years because it has been organized more digitally since even the time of applying for participation was Online.
Ms. Khamis said that this year’s Ticketing will also be done through various mobile networks, as well as there will be modern internal transportation provided by the Post Office, there will also be an entertainment village and a sports village, so citizens can expect many good things.
Mr. Chalamila has approved the request for Mwendokasi buses to provide transportation services for the entire period of the SABASABA 2025 exhibition.
