The MP for Dodoma Urban, Mr. Anthony Mavunde has handed over a rest building to the citizens at the Regional Referral Hospital which will help solve the challenges of many citizens who did not have a decent place to rest while attending to their patients.
The handover ceremony of the building was led by the Dodoma Regional Commissioner, Mrs. Rosemary S. Senyamule on June 25, 2025.“President Dr. Samia Hassan has done a great job of improving the facilities and health services at this Dodoma Referral Hospital.
The work done by MP, Mr. Mavunde is exemplary as he has supported the President’s efforts in improving health services”, said Mrs. Senyamule
The Chief Physician of the Referral Hospital, Dr. Ernest Ibenzi said the Hospital is currently undergoing a major expansion and construction of new buildings to provide services to the public and thus took the opportunity to thank the Member of Parliament, Mr. Mavunde for the great cooperation he has been providing to the Hospital including the construction of the building.
Speaking at the event, the Member of Parliament, Mr. Mavunde said the construction of the building has been motivated by the large number of citizens who come to the Hospital to serve their patients and lack places to rest especially at night. He has promised to complete the construction of the fence in front of the Dodoma Regional Referral Hospital.
