The international conference on peace issues has celebrated social tensions, arms conflicts, war should not be interrupted and education in support of peace.
At the conference held on June 12, 2025, Paris With the intention of the Internet with a topic that states “School as a peaceful place to prevent violence and promote international citizenship”, you called for conflict and war to be stopped for peace worldwide.
HWPL Director General, Mr. D’Almeida said school is the first place where we learn to live and that it is a unique place for social change.
He said our belief is easy to build but we must start early and he also warned against ignoring education as a source of websites, tensions, isolation, or useless violence.
Mr. Medi Muyisa who launched a school peace -building program that focuses on training, counseling and creating a consistent position for dialogue.

Mrs. Katerina Konstantinides Vladimirou, coordinator of the UNESCO -linked school network in Cyprus, said her country’s education policies focused on preventing violence, gender equality and anti -apartheid. The “Odyssey” software, was presented that promotes collective memory, art, and cultural as a social cohesion.
Author Philippe Bessson said more than 6,000 students from 26 countries are involved in the project.
The summit was organized by the non -governmental organization of the International Peace (HWPL] in partnership with permanent members of UNESCO of Burundi, Libya, Togo, South Sudan and Yemen, as well as UNESCO national commissions of Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic, Congolese Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo and Jamaika.
Other organizations are UNESCO – the Center for Higher Studies in Education and Sustainable Development and Clade (Campaña Latinoamericanna Por El Derecho A La Education) as well as UNESCO Peace Artists, Guila Clara Kessous and 322 participants including celebrities.
Delegates from Togo and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) also shared meeting their internal programs, focusing on the world’s most common educational practices and the importance of platforms like HWPL to exchange experiences.
