The Dar es Salaam Region Uhuru Torch Relay has begun in Temeke District, the first District in Dar es Salaam Region.
The Temeke District Uhuru Torch Relay has completed seven projects worth Tsh 17,127,522,627.88, which is the Police Station and Masaki Toangoma Road Construction Project.
Other projects are Mangaya-Mbagala Secondary School, manufacturing of bags using a ten percent loan, Construction of Chamazi District Hospital, Yombo Dovya Secondary School and a clean energy project.
The 2025 Uhuru Torch Relay, June 02, 2025, continues to be run in Kigamboni District, Dar es Salaam Region, where it will inspect and lay the foundation stone and launch various development projects.
