PUMA to build three gas filling stations in the country

**Tanzania and PUMA strengthen cooperation ** PUMA has allocated $24 million for the construction

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Dr. Doto Biteko has met and held talks with the CEO of PUMA Energies Energy Company, Mr. Mark Russell.

During the talks, which took place on May 27, 2025 in Dodoma, Dr. Biteko commended PUMA Energies for investing in the country and providing high-quality services, selling its products to Tanzanians and giving locals high-level positions in the Company.

Dr. Biteko also advised PUMA Energies to continue investing more in the country and said the Company could build more gas filling stations in vehicles to help provide services to citizens.

Regarding clean cooking energy, Dr. Biteko has called on PUMA to invest in the area and said that the Government will continue to strengthen its partnership with the Company.

The CEO of PUMA Energies Energy Company, Mr. Mark Russell said his company has invested more than 24 million US dollars for the construction of three gas filling stations, two in Dar es Salaam and one in Dodoma.
