Towards the celebration of World Emergency Medicine Day on May 27, 2025, Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH), Emergency Medicine and Accident Unit has conducted special first aid training for employees of CRDB Insurance Company, Azikiwe branch in Dar es Salaam.
The training aimed to build the capacity of employees in dealing with emergency situations at work and elsewhere, where they learned how to provide first aid in various emergency situations such as a person who has been stabbed, who has lost consciousness, bleeding, burns and heart attacks.
The Managing Director, CRDB Insurance Company, Azikiwe branch, Mr. Wilson Mnzava has commended MNH for organizing the training which he described as very fundamental for employees and the community at large.
“This is a great thing, I am pleased with how basic and important this training is. I am very impressed by your spirit of dedication to the community. I think we will call you again so that we can learn more, I wish we could learn more deeply,” said Mr. Mnzava.
He urged CRDB employees to ensure that they apply the training in practice and continue to increase their understanding of first aid to be of help to the community during emergencies.
