The Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences [MUHAS] has organized a special camp for initial screening of heart diseases on May 21-22, this year.
A statement issued by MUHAS on May 16, this year and distributed to the media said that the camp will be held at the Mloganzila Hospital Camps from 3:00 am to 10:00 pm.
The statement continued to say that MUHAS is doing this towards the second phase of the launch of the Africa Cardiovascular Diseases Center project.
It said that at the camp, citizens will be provided with initial screening services for heart diseases, investigation of the causes of heart diseases, education and advice on heart health, proper use of heart disease medications and supportive services in heart diseases.
It continued to say that citizens will also see various products manufactured by experts from MUHAS in the field of Pharmacy and Natural Medicine.
The statement welcomed all citizens and urged them to protect their health and heart.
