Ubungo District Commissioner, Mr. Lazaro Twange has visited Muhimbili National Hospital Mloganzila with the aim of introducing himself and obtaining information on the hospital’s performance which is located in Ubungo district.
During the visit, Mr. Twange commended the hospital’s management for introducing cutting-edge services that have helped many Tanzanians including Ubungo residents not seek treatment abroad.
“My visit today aims to introduce ourselves, get to know each other and see how we can help each other to ensure that we provide quality services to citizens and make our hospital continue to be a leader in providing quality services in the country and even in surrounding countries”, said Mr. Twange
Deputy Executive Director Muhimbili National Hospital-Mloganzila, said the hospital has continued to tackle non-communicable diseases by introducing a weight loss service where so far more than 250 people have benefited from the service.
Dr. Magandi said that due to the quality of services, public confidence has increased, allowing Muhimbili Mloganzila to serve an average of 1,200 outpatients (OPD) from 200 patients per day in 2018.
